We have 9.30am and 11am worship gatherings each week. Both gatherings are quite informal: the 9.30am has a more traditional flavour with hymns and the 11am is more informal with more contemporary worship and it has organised children’s and youth activities. Alpha
Alpha takes place at The Pavilion twice a year. It is an ideal introduction to Christianity for those who are wanting to know more, whether they are simply searching for answers or for those new to the Christian faith.

LifeClass
LifeClass courses usually take place twice a year.
LifeClass is a 9 week course designed to help you learn more about the basics of Christianity, and to encourage you to develop a relationship with God. Although it is fairly foundational, we encourage everyone to attend LifeClass at least once.
The entire course takes place over 8 Sundays and a weekend.
We start our sessions at 11am, so you can come to our pre service and leave for LifeClass when our main service starts.

Easy English Bible lessons
This meets at 12-2pm on Wednesdays in term time in the Thames Room and we are a group comprising many different nationalities. Most of the people who come are not Christians and this is a good group for anyone who maybe isn’t a Christian but wants to find out more about what the Bible says.

All Nations Christian Centre
On the first Sunday of the month we have a family-friendly service called One Big Church, which is suitable for young and old to come together to worship. These services usually last just over hour, with refreshments available before the service at 9.45am. Following this service at 11.30am, we have a reflective time of communion for those wishing to stay.

From time to time we run The Course of Your Life.
Three aims
- To understand who God is, what he is doing in our world, and what Jesus Christ has to do with that.
- To see and understand yourself — who you really are, what you’re here for, and what your future holds.
- To discover what God wants you to do with the rest of your life from this point on — not just in a vague general sense (“give him the glory”, “be a good Christian”), but more personally and specifically.
Ladies’ Bible Study
We meet at Wednesdays (term time) 1 – 2:15pm on Zoom.
Studying the Bible together as women helps us know more about how God wants us to live today. Friendships and praying together enriches our time together and encourages us to share how knowing Jesus shapes our different roles and relationships. There is a crèche.

Community Bible Study
There are two classes that we run:
Friday mornings at 9.30am
Friday evenings at 7.30pm.
This study programme is a great and easy way to learn about the Bible with a small group of people. The group has a dedicated leader who will help the discussions and guide the group through a structured lesson plan.
Our classes run for a full school year during term time.
Alpha at Time Out for Women
Starting on Thursday 23rd February 2023 and will run for six weeks, with the final week being Thursday 30th March. We’ll meet from 10:00am in The Atrium at Greyfriars, and be finished by 11:30am.
Alpha at the Atrium
Started on Wednesday 18th January 2023 and is running for ten weeks with a break for half-term. We meet from 7:30pm in The Atrium at Greyfriars.

We gather at 2 pm for Service ZERO on the second, third, fourth and fifth Sundays of each month for worship, teaching and ministry.
On the first Sunday of each month, we have a special service called REMIX.
REMIX is at the alternative time of 12pm as we eat and explore faith together. REMIX is for all ages and this space replaces our other services.

Wesley Guild
The Wesley Guild is an organisation within the Methodist Church for people of all ages. Meetings are held on Tuesdays alternating between 2.30pm and 7.30pm from September to April and are usually held in the Church.
The programme is based on a different theme each week, either Christian Service, Cultural, Devotional or Social and Musical with visiting speakers and locally organised events.

Our main Sunday service is at 9.30am. This is a sung service with organ/piano and a sermon, lasting about an hour. Usually a Parish Holy Communion, except on the third Sunday each month when we have a Service of the Word. We meet for coffee afterwards.
