At Torch, we are Christians and we believe that our greatest needs on earth and after death can be met by Jesus Christ, by having a relationship with Him now and on into eternity. This is possible because He offers us forgiveness for our sin and a new life here and now. This meets at 12-2pm on Wednesdays in term time in the Thames Room and we are a group comprising many different nationalities. Most of the people who come are not Christians and this is a good group for anyone who maybe isn’t a Christian but wants to find out more about what the Bible says.

Friday mornings at 9.30am
Friday evenings at 7.30pm.

This study programme is a great and easy way to learn about the Bible with a small group of people. The group has a dedicated leader who will help the discussions and guide the group through a structured lesson plan.

Our classes run for a full school year during term time.

Course material is provided for a fee of £10.

Christianity Explored is an informal mid-week course which gives the opportunity to look closely at the claims of Jesus Christ through reading Mark’s gospel. The course runs over 7 sessions.

We welcome those of some faith, or none, or those who are unsure. The format is relaxed and informative and there is plenty of time to ask all of the questions you have. There’s always some food of some description and plenty of laughter and life-long friendships can be formed.
