If you are looking for a warm, friendly place to visit come and join us! Hot drinks and food available from 12 noon to 4.30pm, as well as a warm place to sit and chat.

We are also part of Community Food Share working with Tesco to reduce food waste. We will have free food available from 3pm each Tuesday. Bring a bag, collect some food and stay for a hot drink and something to eat.

We operate from the Lower Back Hall of the Church building. Access is from the side entrance, next to the Church carpark.

Bible study class runs weekly on Tuesdays at 11am – 12pm.

SHARE is a community project that offers a range of fresh produce including bread and vegetables, which are either surplus or end of day items from the local supermarkets.

Come along with a bag and pick up some food. No referral needed. There is a minimum £1 donation most of which will go towards warm banks in Woodley.

We need you to approach someone at Reading Borough Council, Social Services, the Job Centre, Doctor, School, or indeed any professional body/agency who will be able to vouch for your need.

HOWEVER, if you feel your need is desperate call the office on 0118 987 2672 and we can assess your need and may offer a one off parcel and point you in the direction of the right agency for you to contact to gain a referral.

Each week SHARE helps over 2000 people in our local community who need support foodwise by redistributing an incredible 40 tonnes of food from local supermarkets and food suppliers that would otherwise go to waste.

No referral is required and the food is free. Our food sharing is for anyone who feels they could do with some help – even if just temporarily. Everyone is welcome. No questions are asked. You will just find friendly faces and plenty of fresh produce
