On Thursdays between 10am and 12pm, we can help you at Cafe 12 at church.

Our services include: Benefit checks, Benefit applications, Housing advice, Form filling, Budgeting advice, Low level debt advice

For a small weekly subscription of £5.00, members of this pantry will be able to have access to food including fresh fruit and vegetables and store cupboard favourites that will often value £15-20 or more! Membership is open to the community and local families are strongly encouraged to join.

Whitley Wood Pantry run by Reading Family Church with the support of FAITH Christian Group at Whitley Wood Community Centre.

A pantry works on a membership basis. Each individual joins the pantry and pays a subscription each time they visit.  This entitles them to “shop” for up to ten products in the Pantry.

Each week SHARE helps over 2000 people in our local community who need support foodwise by redistributing an incredible 40 tonnes of food from local supermarkets and food suppliers that would otherwise go to waste.

No referral is required and the food is free. Our food sharing is for anyone who feels they could do with some help – even if just temporarily. Everyone is welcome. No questions are asked. You will just find friendly faces and plenty of fresh produce
