ESOL courses run from September to July. Learners sign up for the whole academic year.
Learners are assessed first so we know what level they are and then we will offer them specific days and times when they can study.
The courses are offered at our main centre in South Reading and also in the community. They are 2.5 hours once a week. They are free to some learners but not all learners. They will have to fulfil the eligibility criteria to get the course free of charge.

About New Directions College
We became New Directions College in 2008 when Reading Adult and Community College and the Training Education Advice (TEA) Shop merged. We have taught from numerous premises over the years and now have our dedicated centre in Whitley. We continue to deliver adult education within our community and deliver from the Curious Lounge, Reading University (London Road Campus), in local schools, libraries, community hubs and children’s centres.
